  		Transcription: Petition for Equity to sell land owned by H. M. Walker, deceased. (October 8 1886) Ten years after H. M. Walker died, his widow Mary J. Hurley Walker made a petition to the Crittenden County Circuit Court to allow the sale of the family homestead, with distribution of funds being made to the heirs of H. M. Walker. Jamile has a copy of the original court petition.
  		Transcription: Sale of Land from the Estate of Hugh M. Walker to Alex Woody (September 27 1890) This sale of land to Alex Woody specifies each heir of H. M. Walker and the amount of money to be paid to each one. Jamile has a copy of the original deed.

  Maybe Hurl or Hurley. Mildred Walker told me in July 2002 that Harmon Walker used to have an uncle named Hurl who worked at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN for years. Moses Hurley had a son (by his second wife Catharine Robertson) who was named Dickson. This may be where Dixon got his name - from his mother Mary Hurley's Uncle Dickson. 1900 Census Dixon, wife Minnie and 3 children KY/Union County/Sturgis/District 83 1930 Census Dixon and second wife Annie. Both listed as 55 years old. Census shows she was born in Mississippi. Jan 1949 His brother Ira's obituary said that Hurley was living in Memphis.
